Today is the last day for my anatomy class in Glasgow University. I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures with my lecturer John Shaw-Dunn who is a wonderful lecturer. He makes anatomy simple and interesting...I'll be having my anatomy exam on 7/11..Pray for me everybody.

Dinner at Sajaan
|
|
Today I had dinner at Sajaan, a Pakistani restaurant with Noreen,Nira,Ekin,Lia,Ita,Pauzi,Temb and Irfan...And we ate a LOT of food...A LOT...We even 'tapau' the food..We ate everything from chicken donner pizza,baked potatoes,fish and chips,kebabs,tandoori masala,celonese masala,tikka nentara,tikka laziza, to lamb dopiaza....all the weird food names... Anyway, Since, my birthday is on Monday (20/10), we had an advanced celebration...my friends got me a chocolate cake and a card too...they even sang 'Happy Birthday' for me..which makes me blush.. I am touched ..I am grateful to Allah to have my friends here with me..to be there whenever I needed them...Thanks to all of you..

Today (18/10/2003), we had a gathering for the Malaysian community in Glasgow at SUMSA. We had a 'taaruf' with everybody who came and got to know more Malaysian people of Glasgow.There were 2 ustazs who gave a talk each, one on 'Puasa di Perantauan' and 'Membina Keluarga Bahagia'..after the talk,we got to eat all the delicacies that was there..There were roti jala,nasi lemak,chicken curry,cakes,fruits,mee,macaroni and a lot more...we ate a lot...a whole lot...after that, we had our Dzuhur solat and then take a few snaps of pictures with the new people that we met..

Tour around Glasgow Uni

Today we woke up late of course after last night's dinner. Today, Suhana brought to her university,which is Glasgow University. Suhana is a friend of mine back in primary and secondary school (Sultan Ibrahim Girls's School). She moved to Negeri Sembilan when she's in Form 4 and went to MRSM Jasin.It's been a long time since we met. And of all places, we met in Glasgow...hehehe...Since I'll be having Anatomy classes in Glasgow Uni, she showed me the way.The sceneries in this side of Glasgow is simply fascinating.We took pictures for every 5 steps that we walked..hahaha...not really actually, but you can resist taking picture in this side of Glasgow (West End).

Today we had a dinner (like a welcoming dinner),hehe...at Kelvinhaughgate Hall,at Glasgow University.I went with Noreen to see Suhana, Aisyah,Syida, Nazar and Fizul..We had Nasi Ayam,strudels,carrot cake,and soup...(Did I miss anything Suhana/Aisyah?)...We also got to know with their flatmates. 3 girls from Greece, Theti,Catherina and hmmm..(I forgot the other one)... Later, others came and you can see the picture of all of us in the last photo. I and Noreen slept at 2 a.m, chatting with Suhana, as we haven't seen each other for a very loooooongggggg time...the dinner was superb...thanks to them.

Welcome to United Kingdom (Heathrow Airport and British Midland)

Me and Noreen arrived in Heathrow Airport London at about 6 a.m.We had to show our medical reports before checking out of the custom. Once out, we took our trolley and got our had luggage on it as strolled it all along with us wherever we went.The first thing that we do after that was searching for a phone card.Both of us wanted to call so much that we bought 2 piece of phone card worth 10 pounds each (each of us had 2).So, we tried calling Malaysia thru the public phone.I managed quite a lot,ayah,ibu,Tifla,Uchu and a few of my friends. After that, the ow of us headed to the terminal where we are supposed to go for the domestic flights. It was really far.Alhamdullilah we had the trolley with us for our luggage.Once we reached the terminal, Noreen suggest that we go and sit somewhere to have breakfast.So, the first place that we went was Costa Cafe.Noreen bought a hot chocolate.And guess what we ate for our breakfast... Shafis's begedel....it was simply delicious...Since our flight was going to be at 1 pm, we had plenty of time.So, we walked around the airport to snap a few pictures of us being here...hhehehe...nothing much actually in that airport.Anyway, we did take a few snaps.Our flight to Glasgow was with British Midland. And I took pictures of the sky and Glasgow from the top - from my seat...it was beautiful...The plane landed and..here we are in Scotland...(I am missing Malaysia already)
